About / History

Leader Engineering Fabrication Inc. was organized in Napoleon Ohio late in 1984.  We started with only 6 employees in a 4800 square foot pole barn. Our focus was the design and manufacture of high quality stainless steel components for one of the world’s best known soup companies.

We nearly doubled in size within the year and by 1988 built a 24,000 square foot facility to meet the needs of our clients. Throughout this growth we’ve expanded our custom designed machinery and robotic integration services to the casting / foundry, printing and automotive markets.

Our Mission is to provide quality services to customers, employees, and to the community by practicing the Golden Rule philosophy:

“Do Unto Others as You Would Have Them Do Unto You.”

With this philosophy, we will be fair and earn a profit. As the “Do Unto Others” circle grows, we will continue to serve and assist others to also grow and prosper with us.

The purpose of our company is to help companies overcome their manufacturing challenges. We do this through assisting clients in formulating new ideas and concepts aimed at solving issues, and then by turning these ideas into equipment that gets the job done.

Today we employ over 40 skilled associates and engineers with expertise in mechanical, automation, hydraulic, and electrical systems who use the latest CAD software and leading-edge technology in every design/build project we take on.

As we continue to grow, we hope you’ll allow us to help your business grow as well. Contact us to learn more.
